Client Stories

Voices from completed reviews

I brought three hardware wallets and two envelopes. Only after NeuroServe labeled which envelope matched which device did my brother stop arguing about who held “the real backup.” The map is blunt in places — that is what I needed.

The access notes session felt slow because they kept cutting sentences that sounded clever but would confuse my daughter. I left with fewer words and a clearer packet for our attorney.

Daniel R., Seongbuk — Access Notes Session

We practiced the dry-run twice. The first time my spouse could not find the cable. Mildly embarrassing; also the entire point of paying for practice before anything irreversible happens.

Yuna L., Seocho — Recovery-Preparedness Dry-Run

The briefing answered my children’s questions without opening a single seed word in the room. I still wish we had scheduled it a year earlier.

Extended story: two safes, one missing label

A couple in Yongsan kept a hardware wallet in a home safe and a metal seed plate in a bank box. Their Inheritance Mapping Review found that both locations were mentioned in a personal letter — but neither letter named which passphrase applied to which device. During the recovery dry-run, the secondary holder attempted the wrong passphrase three times on a practice unit before the primary holder clarified the order.

NeuroServe rewrote the access notes so the passphrase hint lived only in the sealed bank packet, while the home letter listed device identity and counsel contacts. The couple’s attorney received a one-page summary without secrets. Six weeks later they returned for a Family Briefing so adult children understood the sequence without seeing the plate.

Extended story: heir abroad

A client with a child living in Europe needed a map that assumed delayed arrival. The review recorded which local relative could open the apartment safe, which envelope waited at the notary, and that no recovery should begin until the named attorney confirmed probate steps. The mild reservation from the heir: “I still dislike that someone else can open the safe first.” That tension stayed on the map as an intentional constraint rather than a silent risk.
